Abstracts
The official abstract submission guidelines and forms
are available here on the website. Please
pre-register before submitting the Abstract (no fee required).
Regular abstract submission is closed.
The deadline for submission of Late Breaker abstracts is June 7, 2003
Accommodations Participants to the Conference may book their accommodation through JCD Conseil who have secured a large number of hotel rooms in Paris. Reservations can be made directly via the internet from November 2002.
Certificate of Attendance
A Certificate of attendance will be provided to all
participants on request.
Conference Venue The opening and closing sessions, the plenary sessions, symposia, forums, oral sessions, poster sessions and controversy sessions will be held at:
Le Palais des Congrès de Paris,
2, Place de la Porte Maillot,
75017 Paris. Le Palais des Congrès de Paris is located on the West side of Paris, just five minutes from the Arc de Triomphe (Metro station: Porte Maillot)
International Awards
The International Awards Programme is designed to encourage the participation of scientists and clinicians from
developing countries. To apply, use the same form as for the Scholarships Programme. Deadline: March 15, 2003 - extended deadline.
Official Carrier Air France, the official carrier of the Conference is offering reduced fares to registered participants. Please use the following code: AXZE SE 32190 when contacting your local agent to reserve your air ticket.
Official Invitation
An official letter of invitation for visa purpose only,
will be made available in your name on the
Conference website as soon as you have registered
for the Conference.
Official Language
The official language of the Conference is English. Simultaneous translation of the plenary sessions will be provided in French.

All participants must be registered.The official registration
guidelines and forms are available on the website. We strongly recommend that participants register
here on the website.
Satellite Symposia
Satellite symposia will take place on Saturday, July 12 from
9 am till 7.30 pm and Sunday 13, from 9 am till 5.30 pm.
Scholarships
Junior scientists (doctoral students and post-
doctoral fellows)and clinicians may apply to the
Scholarships Programme. The scholarship application
form is included in the website. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must submit an abstract. Deadline: March 15, 2003 - Extended Deadline.
Community Scholarships
The organizers of the Conference are committed to
making it possible for Community Representatives from around the world
to attend the Conference. A limited number of
scholarships will be allocated to facilitate their participation. The Community scholarships application form is included
in the website. Deadline: February 15, 2003.
Selected Excursions
A selection of excursions, inside and outside Paris
is available.
Visa applications
A French visa may be required for non European Union delegates. Applicants are urged to check with the French Embassy
or Consulate in their country, at least two months prior to the Conference, to avoid delays.
