International Awards
1153 applications to the International Awards Programme were received by an independent committee of basic scientists and clinicians from the North and South.
290 International Awards have been granted to clinicians and scientists from 88 developing countries.
Community Scholarships
176 applications to the Community Scholarship Programme were received, among which 50 have been selected by the Conference International Community Liaison Committee
Scholarships
100 applications to the Conference Scholarship Programme for junior scientists and clinicians having submitted an abstract were received. 78 have been granted a scholarship, 61 with a poster presentation, and 17 with an oral presentation.
